About This

• MONTESSORI INSPIRED OPEN ENDED PLAY FOR CREATIVE EXPRESSION – The PlanToys Pig encourages children to explore farm-themed storytelling, imaginative role play and nature-based learning through child-led discovery. Its simple wooden form allows children to decide how the pig moves, behaves and interacts, creating an open-ended play experience that nurtures independence, emotional expression and creativity in alignment with Montessori principles.
• SUPPORTS FINE MOTOR SKILLS, HAND COORDINATION AND PRECISION – Holding and moving the pig strengthens grip control, wrist stability, finger dexterity and hand–eye coordination. These foundational skills directly support writing readiness, drawing, dressing and practical life tasks. The smooth wooden texture provides calming tactile feedback, encouraging children to handle the figurine with care, focus and intention.
• PROMOTES LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT AND EARLY STORYTELLING – Pretend play with animals naturally inspires children to narrate scenes, describe actions and create imaginative stories. This strengthens vocabulary, expressive language, sequencing and early literacy. The pig provides an easy entry point into communication-rich play, helping children build confidence in expressing their ideas through storytelling.
• ENCOURAGES SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT, EMPATHY AND COLLABORATION – The pig figure supports shared storytelling and cooperative play with siblings or peers. Children learn to take turns, negotiate roles, work together and develop empathy as they co-create farm scenes. These playful interactions nurture social awareness, emotional balance and meaningful connection through gentle, imaginative engagement.
• CRAFTED FROM ECO FRIENDLY, CHILD SAFE MATERIALS – Made from sustainably sourced wood and finished with non-toxic materials, the PlanToys Pig offers a safe, durable and environmentally responsible play experience. The sturdy build and smooth edges make it ideal for Montessori shelves, small world setups, early childhood classrooms and eco-conscious homes seeking high-quality, long-lasting toys.
